Cereal is a big expense. Still, my family loves it, so I stock up if I can get it for $1.00 or less and will by a little at $1.50 or less. I'm like you, though. I make a lot of alternatives.

Good points and well said, Queen. I also think that a lot of times we take our spouses for granted and think that we know everything there is. But there is always something surprisingly delightful to learn if you pay attention.

I used to do this at our old house, because we had an actual sidewalk that led from our front steps to join the rest of the sidewalk. The boiling water worked beautifully.
