I'm always hesitant about sequels. Then again, Enchanted is a movie that I thought I would hate but actually fell in love with after first site. James Marsden and Amy Adams were well cast in the original. If you ever come across any info for the original recording for the song that Marsden and Mentzel did together (and was cut), please let us know.

Babyled, it is nice to meet someone with the same struggle. Using prayer is great. I also find that the less I nag, the more helpful my husband is. He actually came home from work last night in the middle of chaos and asked, "What do you need me to do?" Whoo hoo!

Against Playdates

I think playdates serve a real purpose when the children are young. Little ones don't often meet each other on the street and spontaneously play. It is also a great way for parents to get together and meet other parents. Once kids get a bit older, the spontaneous play just starts to happen. Yesterday afternoon, for example, I had five extra kids (in addition to my own three) wander over and play in our yard.

There are third graders in my son's school that are carrying cell phones! I asked why he thought someone in third grade would need a cell phone, and we were able to discuss the answers. That helped.

Strange. I wonder who was sitting around in a meeting and thought, "Okay how can we get people to buy more mouse ears? I know, make them smell like popcorn. Everyone loves Popcorn, right?" And the rest of the people in the meeting applauded and said, "Wow Bob, great idea!"
