Alaska--one thing that I have found that helps is to wash linty items, such as towels, separate from the rest of the laundry. Also, if you have a dryer, you could choose to put the clothes in it for five to seven minutes just to collect the lint.

Wow--what great memories! I never thought about a hunt with prizes at the end.

This year, I had to really work at keeping the Easter treat budget under $50 for three kids plus friends. It seems like a lot, but with the price of things, it didn't go very far.

Mommyteaches, isn't it funny how there are certain brand names that are worth the extra cost. I can't get used to generic cotton swabs, for example!

Queen, you are so right. That is an excellent suggestion for anyone who is reluctant about trying store brands.

Sometimes I do see a difference in milk between the store brands, such as one that tends to go bad quicker than the others. Truthfully, we have gotten so used to store brands for most things that we usually prefer them.
