Sounds like real neglect to me! Wow. I'm not sure what I would have done in that situation. Imagine what their home life must be like. Did you ever find the mom? I'm assuming she was in the store since the little boy was screaming for her.

Ericka, that is a good guideline. What do you do for shirts? I'm been putting sweaters over turtlenecks or t-shirts and then re-wearing the sweater, sometimes, but washing the shirt that touches my skin.

BMCSTND: a more frugal way of doing that is to just crush the roll a little before putting it on the holder. The oval shape will make it harder to pull too much paper at once.

We tend to pull a lot of things out of the freezer on weekends. With five of us, leftovers don't stretch very far unless I triple recipes (which I mostly do).
