All About the Lovey

Both my biological children had/have loveys. I am a big supporter of the lovey. In fact, I was pushing the lovey the first night home from the hospital --gently tucking a stuffed animal that I though might be a good "fit" next to their little cheek. I have done many crazy things for our loveys including the panicked trip to a distant department after work one night when I got "the call" from my nanny that Ellie had been lost! or the recent late night spent baking cupcakes for Blue Bunny's birthday (which by the way, we never knew he had--my son just decided that morning!) I would love to hear other peoples stories about their children's loveys. For us they have been a wonderful way for my kids to find security while unknowingly learning about caring for and loving others.
