Life in Nashville

So, here we are in Nashville, TN, someplace I never thought I'd live, but we love it.

We found a great neighborhood with nice people and are adjusting pretty well. Allison and Molly love it because there are always lots of kids around.

Allison recently started Kindergarten at Moore Elementary and loves it. She enjoys meeting new friends and going to Art class.

Molly just loves being with Mommy and loves to visit sissy at school because she feels like a big kid. It seems like all the kids at school know Molly. She's already very popular for a two year old.

Marty loves his job at 96.3 Jack-FM. It's a great balance between management and utilizing his creativity.

I am now a stay-at-home Mom, something I didn't think I would ever get to do. I absolutely love being here for the girls all the time, but I really miss my job and the people I worked with. I constantly think about what my next career will be. I know I will never find another job like I had at Children's Miracle Network, so therefore I think I have to create something for myself. Any ideas?

We miss our family and friends in St. Louis so much, but we're making the best of it. We can't make it home as often as we'd like but try to visit when we can.

We're taking our first trip to Disneyworld this week for Allison's 6th Birthday. We're surprising her with a dinner with Cinderella on her birthday. The girls are so excited to see all the characters, especially the princesses and obsessed about which princess they will dress up as while they are there.

I will add more pictures when we return.

Thanks for visiting my site. This is a way for me to post pictures of the girls so everyone can see all the fun things we're doing in Nashville. And if you know me, there will be more photos than you ever needed.  To view my photos, click on Photos to the right.

Hi hun, I live in Nashville, have pretty much most of my life. It's a great place to raise kids, you should subscribe to the nashville parenting magazine, its awesome. It show you good things to do with the kids, most of them are free, and so is the magazine. I'm pretty sure their website is www.nashvilleparenting.com.
