Donald Trump Saves Ed McMahon from the Streets - Blog Entry

I doubt McMahon was destined for the streets. But I am sure that it was a tremendous burden to him at his age. Money seems to dissappear awful fast when you get older.

I loved Dallas. Those people were so good at being so bad.

This is very difficult for you to survive. But survive you must. Losing one we love to a violent death takes some piece of us with it too.

One of the things I have found that has helped me survive all the death in my family that I experienced at a young age is to realize that what I shared with deceased family members is special, and still very much a part of me. If your uncle raised you, then he has passed that on to you.

You miss him terribly, and you are in great pain. You will heal eventually, but it will take time. And your life will be an affirmation of his own. You will survive, and some day you will thrive. Just now, give yourself time to recover from this devastating blow.

I hope there is justice for you and for your uncle.

Very good about the effect on families. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt!

I'd love to know what the other people on the flight saw and heard.

Anyone can have a bad day, and she might have lost her temper. But suffering depression because of a shoving incident that was OVER in a little while, and then suing someone for 10% of their net worth (how biblical, tithe unto me) seems a bit extreme.

My dad started his career as a flight attendant in the 1950s. He flew the NY/Miami flights, lots of entertainers, lots of egos. Some well behaved, some not. He had some stories about some real jerks. Guess what. It was OVER the minute he left the plane.

We had one that sat in the window for its whole life. Caught the bugs that came in through a tiny hole in the bottom of the screen. Watched it carry babies on its back. Fascinating to watch.

Beware...There Are Monsters About! - Blog Entry

The sad thing was when I had to put the rabbit to sleep, as she was 10 years old and failing. I put her in the cat carrier to go to the vet. He saw the carrier and did his usual hiding - then he saw she was in it, and he just had to sniff. So I went to the vet, and came back without her, and he was totally freaked. He sniffed and sniffed that thing - very spooky...pets go in and they don't come back.....

But then when I took apart her cage and boxed up her food and grass he wanted to steal some as usual. True predator. Now that the rabbit's dead, can I have her stuff? Seeing as I never got to have her for lunch?

Courtney, it is very true how you can read a pets mind after a while - real non verbal communication.

This is funny. You just wish they could talk.

Catzilla got spooked one day when he was eyeing our pet rabbit. I took the rabbit out to clean the cage, and let her spend some time in a pen outdoors on a nice day. After the cage was clean, I left her outside for a few hours, since she seemed to enjoy it. Catzilla was very interested in her cage, so I put a plush cadbury bunny in it and left the door open. He went in, ha ha ha, I got in the cage - and then stopped and stared at the toy rabbit, and backed out of the cage like whoa, what happened to her.....
