Easter Story Egg Hunt - Blog Entry

We have used these Easter Eggs for several years. On Easter Sunday after church, we hide them in the cemetery near my dad's grave and the kids hunt for them. After they are collected, we spread out a blanket next to his grave. The kids reveal what is in each egg and I read the scripture associated with each one. It really helps us focus on Easter and it also personalizes it through reaffirming that although we miss "Papa" in our lives now, we will see him again.
