When I was visiting the American Girl Place in Chicago, they had a doll cleaning kit for $9.00. It had a little can of cleaner and a wash rag. I agree completely. I have seen plenty of home schooled kids who get to college or start jobs and have no idea how to follow a schedule. My first two children would sit angelically in a grocery cart. My third child has sensory integration disfunction and we frequently have screaming, kicking, back arching melt downs at the store. Needless to say, I am much more understanding when I see other moms struggling. Yes, much of the time the kid does need someone to control him, but that's not always the case. More Dress up Stuff - Blog Entry05 May 2006 04:04 PM Dress up is huge at my house! I have to keep buying larger boxes. I buy Haloween costumes when they go on clearance at sam's for $5.00. We have angels, ducks, bees, ladybugs. My mother-in-law even gave the kids some of the dress up stuff that my husband and his brothers used to play with.
