Shoes or no shoes?

I have always been told that you should leave them bare until they learn to walk or cruise around furniture. If it doesn't change her ability, then I wold not worry.

I agree with Jo. You may also want to look into Developmental Apraxia of Speech. DAS is a speech disorder that interferes with a child's ability to correctly pronounce sounds, syllables and words.

She is thought to have very high Functioning Autism, but not yet diagnosed because of issues getting her insurance to pay for her to go the psychologist to finish the evaluations.

She puts all her attention to it, scratches at it because she tries to make it go away. She will make it worse. She will not let it go..

She isn't cutting herself.. When she gets cut she focuses... Its not just focusing on it. It is like it is almost... well she looks like she is having anxiety attacks...

14,528 texts in One Month!!!

We have Metro PCS and they have free unlimited texting... That story sounds like my teen daughter.. You should see her fingers typing.. I could care less how many times she texts..

She is developmentally delayed and is not even at a 5 year level with most things. No IQ test yet, but she gets evaluated every 6 months. She is also not mentally up there with her age..

Dyslexia??

Anyone have a Dyslexic child? Any pointers on how to nip it in the bud while they are still young?

Well my youngest is having a bunch of obsessive behaviors just popping out. She is currently being evaluated for it and also Dyslexia. *She is compulsive about her and other peoples nails.
