Excellent article. The primary role of parenting is to build self esteem in children and this can not be done succesfully if we do not demonstrate it ourselves. I appreciate the advise that parents should not make negative comments about themselves. My 24 year old daughter always gets discouraged when I make remarks that show low self esteem.
