I believe that we do need to be careful as well. Several sites that I have visited list tannic acid as an ingredient--and these are sites listing the benefits of drinking green tea. Tannins have a similar chemical make up in tea as in plants that are used in the tanning process. Green tea is made from the tea plant, which is what we are counseled to avoid in the Word of Wisdom. Herbal teas are made from roots or leaves of herbs. If you disagree with me or have a question I would simply ask your bishop if he finds drinking green tea acceptable. Then you will know the specific answer for your area. In my mind if it is not good in one culture, then it is not good anywhere. This blog was about following the spirit of the Word of Wisdom which is taking care of your body. Personally I don't feel that it is good to drink caffeine and colas either, but that is just my opinion.

They really were. As a youth I didn't realize what an example they were. I just thought they worked too hard all of the time. Growing up sure puts things into perspective.

Tristi--I agree with you. I know several women who feel bad because they are never called to Young Women's or another calling they want. It is important to realize that the Lord does have a hand in the decision making as well.

Nola--Sometimes it does feel more like a spirituality contest. It is important to not compare ourselves to each other! Congrats on seminary teacher--I would become a walking zombie! I know you'll do a good job!

We already have it installed on our PC. That is the first thing my dh did when he got home from work yesterday. He is a huge Mac person. Our next computer purchase is going to be the Mac Mini . . . and then we will be a Mac only family. Currently we have one PC and one Mac. I like Safari, but I don't want to reset all of my bookmarks!

I personally don't believe in the lottery. I think it is an unfair tax on the poor and uneducated. I think that it is really difficult to come out ahead, and the amount of money that you win usually doesn't match how much your spend. Thanks for your comments.
