My husband freaks out when I freak out, but other than transition the entire process was just awesome. I am so glad that I was able to experience it. Also my recovery time has been much better. I am definitely planning on going natural for my next baby! Weaning: The Introduction - Blog Entry21 Feb 2007 05:29 PM I have done child led weaning and abrupt weaning as well. My oldest weaned herself at fifteen months. It was so easy, and not at all painful. My second I decided to abruptly stop after I had an eye infection. I didn't realize that the drops weren't safe until the evening. I just decided to stop nursing, since I was ready to anyway. My son was so attached to nursing, that I might still be nursing, and he is now two. I weaned him at fifteen months at well. It was not fun to go with the abrupt stop to nursing for him or me. I plan on letting my next wean himself. It is much easier for both the mother and the child. Young at Heart - Blog Entry17 Feb 2007 09:54 PM Your Grandma-in-law sounds like an awesome lady--full of life and adventure! My Experience with Amniocentesis - Blog Entry16 Feb 2007 10:14 PM I had a similar experience with my third. On my ultrasound he had a spot on his heart. This is considered a soft marker for Down's Syndrome. So we went to the Level 2 Ultrasound, which showed that he was fine. I was grateful I took that blood test because it had come back negative and helped me through the in between period. We had to go to a specialist after the baby was born, because the spot kept showing up on the ultrasounds. I had one two weeks before he was born and it was still there. But I am happy to say that the cardioligist said it was perfect. Silly tests! Saying No to Family and Friends - Blog Entry16 Feb 2007 02:55 PM Hopefully she will. It can be difficult to bridge this topic with others. But those that truly care about you, should be willing to support you in your changes. Good Luck! Avoiding Barren Ground - Blog Entry15 Feb 2007 09:01 PM It is interesting how testimonies can grow in leaps and bounds, but how it really does wither up if you are not nourishing it! General Conference: "A Priesthood Quorum" - Blog Entry15 Feb 2007 09:00 PM I always feel like I don't understand how everything works. This article really opened my eyes. Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 6 - Blog Entry14 Feb 2007 11:34 AM Oh I just thought of this, it is like when you are referring to a verse from Enos. There is only one chapter, but you would still say Enos 1:10. : ) Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 6 - Blog Entry14 Feb 2007 11:34 AM Nola I just pulled the reference straight out of the manual. I assume because there is only one chapter and it is the sixth verse. I was surprised when I saw the reference, but it is referenced that way in the second CTR manual. I decided to just follow what the church was doing. I know that isn't much help! Five Tips to Help You Stop Using the Credit Cards - Blog Entry12 Feb 2007 08:51 PM That is a good idea. The one problem I could see is if your limit is higher than your monthly take home pay. Plus it could lead to a cycle. However, the ouch factor can really work in your favor as you have suggested. There are times when it is more convenient to use the card, times when you need a card (car rentals) and so on, usually you can plan ahead for these events however.
