Primary Time: Assigning Talks - Blog Entry

It can be difficult. It is important to realize that holding the pictures while the mother talks is a good first step. It helps the child to begin to feel comfortable in front of the crowd. Taking it in slow easy steps is the best way to help children become comfortable in this role.

The Scout Committee - Blog Entry

Usually it is to help to pay for Scout camp. The church helps out with enrollment fees and insurance and stuff. Generally most of the costs for camping is covered by the church as well. Usually the boys just have to bring their own food for some of the meals. Gear is loaned (by other members) to the boys who don't have any. So there really isn't a huge amount of cost that the boys have to cover. That is why there is only one allowed a year. Many of the wards don't even do that.

My Confession About My Food Storage - Blog Entry

Thanks for your comments and suggestions! Grain is a wonderful thing to store, since it has so many nutrients in it. It is great that you are already making everything from scratch! I believe that grains can store up to thirty years if stored properly, so you may not need to rotate them. However, I really feel that it is best to eat the food that you store, so your family is used to it. You seem to be doing that already!
