It would also force the channels to cater to the widest possible markets so I think you'd have fewer choices (though the amount of good stuff out there might not be effected by the lose some of the insane number of channels showing Law and Order reruns). The Cash-Only Diet22 Mar 2006 10:34 PM I've been doing this for almost a year and have completely paid off my credit card bills. Living in NYC, I give myself $100 a week "allowence". That's ten dollars a day for food and thirty for fun and extras. Any money left over goes into my spend on anything "mad money" fund. It's a tough budget to stick to but when the money's gone, I'm done for the week. |
