Time Does Fly By

October 10th of 2006

28 weeks & 4 days

This pregnancy has gone by so quick! I can't believe that it is almost over. I am getting ready to enter into my 29th week.

I go for my 30 week appt on the 19th of this month. I have switched doctors because the one that I have gone to for both of the boys decided to start having a bad bedside manner.

The doctor I go to now is a really nice doctor and acts like she really cares about her patience. I will be delivering this baby at another hospital but that is perfectly fine. I actually wanted to deliver this baby at this one hospital that I chose.

I really didn't have that many symptoms with this pregnancy like I did with my boys. With my boys I had a bit of nausea but no throwing up. My bbs were sore.

Now with this one I didn't have any nausea and my bbs were just a tad bit sore. I have also been very tired. Of course the tiredness went away for a few weeks during the second trimester but now its back and its driving me nuts. I would so love to have some energy instead of pushing myself to do things.

Its hard to believe Alex is going to be 6 years old on Valentine's Day of 2007. Then Joey will be turning 4 on May 10th of 2007.

Alex is already in Kindergarten and is doing really good! His teachers love him dearly and say that he is a very smart child. He is learning how to read along with spell out letters.

Joey is doing good just being our little curious Joey! We just had to deal with getting his first stitches. He was a tough child with getting them put in along with taken out.

Both of the boys are looking forward to having their first and only sister! Alex knew from day one that we were having a girl. My mother in law had a dream that a family member that passed away visited her and told her to give me a pink Queen Elizabeth rose. The family members name was also Elizabeth and that is where Elizabeth gets her first name.

Joey lastnight was sitting in his rocking chair and my dh asked him what he was doing. He told my dh that he was going to be rocking his sister along with hold her. I thought that was so sweet and just about made me cry.

Then Alex everyday wants me to lay down so he can feel his sister move. He loves feeling his sister move along with hit or kick him.

I am getting very anxious, excited, nervous and scared about the whole thing! Especially with having our first daughter. My dh and I only know how to raise boys so we will be learning some new things with our daughter.

It makes me happy because this is going to be our last child and we were ttc for a girl. The one month that we decided to not try we ended up pregnant with our little girl.

Miracles do happen, you just have to give it time and patience!
