Free Gillette Fusion at CVS - weeks of 12/2 and 12/9 - Blog Entry

17 Dec 2007 09:19 AM

I have a question for one blogger in particular. There are many frugal shoppers that know full well the value of the CVS Extra Buck Program. Many of us have been using this program to fetch free items and deep discounts by combining coupons with Extra Bucks. We all have cabinets chock full of free shavers, shampoo, energy shots, mouth wash, toothpaste, deoderant, ect.. I personally have saved, this year alone(as it states on my last register receipt) 1,535.46. I have also supplied my local homeless shelter with many of these free amd much needed items that I have aquired by using this great program. Now, I have a question for one particular blogger. HOW MUCH LONGER DO YOU THINK CVS WILL CONTINUE THIS MARVELOUS EXTRA BUCKS PROGRAM IF CVS STORES NATIONWIDE ARE SUDDENLY INUNDATED WITH CUSTOMERS COMMING IN FOR FREE STUFF. (because someone out there on the internet just couldn't resist bragging to 360813 registered users, on this site alone) about how savy they are. Common sense alone should tell you that if suddenly hundreds of people start going to CVS stores to get FREE stuff , it wouldn't be long befor the whole Extra Bucks program would no longer be profitable for them and they would drop the program or greatly reduce the amount of items or the savings amount. So , please, I beg you.. If it's not already too late. STOP shouting this little diddy from the rooftops. I know you are proud of how savy and frugal you are when it comes to saving your family some money. And so you should be. So are the rest of us who work hard at finding these little treasures that will save us some money. BUT.. there is no good sense in ruining a good thing for us all by spreading this to the multitudes. Once again , I beg you , in all sincerety. STOP publicising the CVS Extra Buck Program on this blog or any other. If you really feel the need to brag about how savy you are , then please reserve it for your friends and family like the rest of us do. Sincerely, and with no malice intended. Miss V P.S. I have read many of your comments and other than this one little ditty I think you are great and you have a wonderful family. Merry Christmas
