I'm well aware that times have changed and I don't think I gave you any argument about breastfeeding. I never thought it was "dirty or yucky." I would have done it myself if I could have. I think my only objection was that you breastfed longer than I thought you should but you put me in my place and I shut up. When you were an infant and into your toddler years, I used a cold remedy on you that was very effective. It was given to me by your pediatrician. He told me to (at bedtime) rub Vick's Vapor Rub on the bottom of your feet (to bring the fever down) and on your chest (to clear the congestion).As I said above, it was very effective and I used it all the time.
