Please help. I convert to Islam about 3 years ago. I do practice Ramamdan, donations, every thing. I am married to Morrocan Muslim man who I love. He is upset that I do not pray the same way as the prophet. Let me expain. I am American and I grew up Christian. I convert to Islam. I can only speak english. So when I pray; I pray in English, and the pray my mother taught me. I tryed to pray the prophet way, but I did not understand what I was saying.I also felt very weird. I think it is important to know what I am saying. I have a strong relationship with Allah, I do not think I should be punished for not praying the same way. I can not help where I was born. My husband is worried that he is doing something wrong in Allahs eyes by me not praying the same way.
