OH yeah, I am right there with you... it can be almost maddening at times. Sometimes I'd almost rather my son cry, because 9/10 times a little rocking and a few kisses can cure that...

Embarrassing Talk

Hahha, yes, more often than I sometimes like admitting. If I'm talking on the phone especially and I'm trying to quiet DS, my wires get switched and boy is it ever embarrassing.

Just Curious

I always assumed that if a child was under 4'9" they were required to sit in a booster sear regardless of means of transportation (car-wise, I mean)...
