Wow! Thanks for this. I hadn't known about Nebraska yet. Since I'm in Texas, I'm not quite worried yet because home school laws are different here. Home schools are considered private schools. Still, I will continue to school my children well as always and keep my records organized as I have been, just in case. Great advice. :-)

I also don't understand why the media does this. When a public school student does something horrible, they don't say "Oh, he went to public school. LOL

I don't think the method of schooling is really that big of an issue. Other factors are likely more dominant and relevant.
