I have two boys, ages 5 1/2 and 2 1/2 and two recent "fur baby" adoptees from our local humane society. Prior to staying home, I graduated from college with a B.A. in English, and worked for Tribune Media Services. I was one of two "movie" editors responsible for entering movies into the database, providing rating and description information for companies in need of TV Listings (some of our biggest companies were Echostar, AKA Dish Network). Even now, almost six years later, I'll occasionally see my descriptions come up for the movies I did while working there. My resources for movies and information about them is vast and that aside...I LOVE watching them. I can't stand sad movies and prefer the "rainbow and ice cream cone" endings. Luckily my husband shares my love of film (though he's ok with movies that end realistically) and one of our favorite "dates" is spending an afternoon catching the latest blockbuster at the theater. Our kids have taken on our love of movies, and we enjoy watching family flicks together...especially during the chilly winter months. Writing has long been a passion of mine and I'm excited to not only help author movie reviews, but write for my multiple blogs and article sites on the internet as well. I also own a custom invitation and favor business which has been growing by leaps and bounds over the past year. |
