Runners vs. Drivers-Sharing the Road with Lunatics on Four Wheels - Blog Entry

14 Nov 2008 09:20 PM

Is there a reason some people run in the road as opposed to the sidewalk 2 feet away? I am allways very carefull when I come across runners in the street, but it makes me very nervous.

I can't believe some people actually throw things at runners!

Why My Husband Didn't Force Me to Go to the ER - Blog Entry

04 Nov 2008 06:41 AM

I'm glad everything worked out! My husband and I had a simaler conversation the first year of our marriage. I don't take well to being told what to do, but we agreed, if it had to do with health or safety, we were allowed to pull the " Sit down, shut up, and do what I say!" card.

He pulled the card when I was in labor with our son, and the doctor said my safety, and the safety of our son was on the line.

Do I Really Need a Replacement Ring? - Blog Entry

28 Oct 2008 08:17 PM

I have been in your shoes. But I needed to replace my ring because my original was injuring my children. The diamond wasn't big, but sat very high off my finger. I scratched the corner of my son's eye with it, I scratched my baby multiple times on her back and neck. I needed a ring that sat flush to my finger, and I got it. My husband didn't present it to me or anything, but wanted something on my finger that made me think of him, and us. Now I have a ring that also makes me think of our children. I love the ring! Yes it's pretty, but I get to have that symbol on my hand every day, and I get to go about my day with my children without the old concerns.

Creating a Date Night - Blog Entry

05 Oct 2008 05:16 PM

Thankyou for this reminder of the "in home" date. We are expecting a set of twins in Dec., we also have a 4yr.old and 2 yr.old. Our anniversary is 10days after the twins are due. So I had become resigned to the idea that we weren't going to celebrate. But I love the idea of an in home candle lit dinner with romantic music and dancing!

Thankyou again!

Proposed NJ Homeschool Legislation - Blog Entry

05 Oct 2008 04:56 PM

I really hope the Homeschoolers in New Jersey put their foot down and let it be heard that this is unacceptable.

I'd like to know how many households have someone convicted of a crime in the last five years living in the home with a public schooled child?!!

O.J. Simpson Headed for the Slammer-Is it Justice Delayed? - Blog Entry

04 Oct 2008 08:40 AM

There was enough evidence given to convict him in this case. No need to look to the past. The evidence in this case was overwhelming. statements from 2 of the men saying O.J told them to "bring guns and look menacing". Tape of his voice afterwards celebrating and braging that he would get away with it, tape from the lobby of him and many others going to the room.

Will it be nice to see him serve some time, finally? YES!!! Too bad it was for something a lot minor. But he was guilty both times, and only convicted this one time.
