Ahhhhh this brings back memories! When I was a little girl, my grandparents took me on a trip to Hawaii. I was given my own camera as a gift for the trip. I came home with three rolls of film my Mom couldn't wait to have developed. Imagine her dismay when she picked up three stacks of pictures showing nothing but clouds out the window of the airplane. :D

Thanks for the comments. :) I let her do that several times when she was that age, but I must warn you....she quickly learned that any Kleenex within reach was fair game. (Her OTHER Great Grandmas found that trick somewhat less than amusing.) lol!

What an excellent idea, writing those 'family-isms' down! I need to do that soon too. Off the top of my head, our grocery list has 'Smashed' (instant potatoes), and 'Pasta' (which doesn't mean pasta at all, but rather a special cheese our kids like on homemade macaroni and cheese.) Thank you again for the idea, I'd hate to lose those too!
