Schedule 9.5 months

I realized the other day that it has been acouple months since I have posted anything about Leah's daily schedule.  We try, as much as possible, to keep her to somewhat of a schedule as far as bedtime and naps but much of her day still depends on what time she wakes up in the morning. This is what a pretty typical day looks like for Leah at nine and a half months.

7:30 - Leah is a pretty good sleeper (loves her sleep just like mama) and usually will sleep al night without waking us up.  Once she wakes up she chats to herself and plays in her crib until papa goes in to get her.  Then he spends a little time talking to her, changes her diaper, and brings her down for breakfast.

7:45 - Breakfast time.  Leah is not a picky eater but she also doesn't eat a whole lot.  Breakfast usually consists of some kind of cereal with fruit.  Today: rice cereal and applesauce.

8:15 - Play time.  Leah plays with toys on the floor while I have my morning coffee, read the paper, update our TT, and check on some sites.

9:00 - Dress Time and story time - somewhere around this time Leah will usually have a stinky.  Once that happens we get dressed for the day and then sit down for as many books as she'll sit still for.

9:30 - More play time.  If we have errands we usually will go about now.  If not, she has more play time.  Among her favorite things to do right now is pull herself up to practice standing and walking along the furniture. 

10:00 - Bottle.

10:15 - Naptime.  Leah will usually get tired sometime between 10:00 and 10:30.  I'm not to particular about the time so if she is happy and playing fine, I just let her be.  Once she starts rubbing her eyes or whining, I put her in bed for a nap.  She is usually asleep within five minutes.  This is my time to exercise, shower, and catch up on laundry, cleaning, or paying bills.

11:45 - UP!  A typical nap is about an hour and a half for Leah.  After a hug and snuggle she has a diaper change and a bit more playtime on the floor before lunch.

12:30 - Lunch.  Lunch usually consists of a fruit and a vegetable. Today: Peas and pears.

12:50 - More playtime

1:45 - Bottle

2:00 - Play - I love to play

2:30- Naptime.  Again, Leah will tire between 2:30 and 3:00- mostly depending on her morning nap.  Once she shows signs I put her in bed.

3:50 - UP!  Another nap of about hour and a half is normal here.  More playtime follows until dinner.

5:00 - Papa is home.  Just in time to change my diaper.

5:30 - Dinner time.  Dinner is usually a meat and a vegetable.  After dinner is more playtime, this time with papa.  Or if we have errands we will go now.

7:00 Bath

7:45 Bottle. This is usually her best bottle of the day since papa gives it to her.  He can usually get her to take more than the mealsy 4 - 5 ounces she'll take during the day from me.

8:10 Bedtime.  Leah is usually in bed sometime between 8:00 - 8:30 for the night.
