It seems like waxing is mainly dangerous for diabetics who suffer from neuropathy (loss of sensation) -- they can't feel whether or not the wax is too hot. Might be best for diabetics to check with the doc before attempting a wax, just to be safe!

If you want to go the natural route, another great insect repellant combo is eucalyptus and lemon. That is... if you don't find the scent of the eucalyptus unappealing! :) I've found it works REALLY well to send the bugs crawling in the opposite direction.

I should clarify -- this is a normal (public) park with a special fenced-in area where dogs are allowed off-leash. Through the rest of the park, the dogs have to be on leashes.

I'd say "hoping to PREVENT a pandemic", actually. Personally, I'd rather see people well informed and able to protect themselves than unaware of what's going on and sick (and spreading disease to others).

Skin toners don't actually hide or cover up your skin, Ismail -- they're more like a final rinse for your skin. Well, except that many of them stay on the skin and don't get rinsed off like soap. Most of them are colorless and have the consistiency of water, so while you might smell them, you probably won't be able to see them.

I don't know much about vitiligo, so I can't offer any advice on what kind of cover-up or foundation you might want to try... sorry! A doctor or dermatologist might have some suggestions for you.

May I suggest again that you post your questions in the forums -- there are lots of very active members there and you'll get a wide variety of opinions!

As for my opinion... I'm not a parent, but I'm very pro-immunization. Recent evidence has shown that there is not a link between vaccines and immunization, and I'm all for eradicating diseases like mumps, measles, polio, etc.
