I had the same problem with my Lally and the excitement/submissive piddling... thank goodness that she's more confident now and doesn't squat EVERY time somebody comes to visit. Just some of the time. ;)

In my house, we have what I call "Flush-n-Run" or "Explosive Decompression" toilets -- they're the ones that sound like they're going to suck you down with the mess when you flush! You may want to switch to a Flush-n-Run... the stuff goes down but it scares the crap out of you when you flush it! (Pun intended.)

One word of caution... pennyroyal can be dangerous for people (though not for pets) so be careful with any leftovers! (Pennyroyal essential oil is more dangerous than the leaves or tea.)
