Thank you both for your comments... it makes me sad to think of how many people out there are experiencing similar things. I know people are hard at work on new treatments (my grandmother got to be in a trial for a medication patch for Alzheimer's called Exelon) but it takes so long just to get something through the system. I understand that's for safety reasons, but still. It's frustrating.

Yeah, the last week has been all tough days for getting out of bed on time. I've usually got a dog on each side trying to keep me pinned under the covers. :)

Hmmm... has anything else changed in the last two months? A new daily routine, a new food, a new addition to the family? If her behavior has changed dramatically without any environmental changes, you might want to talk to your vet. Behavior changes can be a sign of pain/sickness.

My favorite pup was Kira (I think that was her name) the shepherd/chow mix. Too cute! I kept telling anyone who'd listen that I wanted a fuzzy puppy just like her. :)
