He's been getting quite a bit of attention on alternative radio stations lately -- I used to work for a station that played Matisyahu, and the listeners LOVED his stuff -- he sold out several concerts in the area! Because nobody ever explained to me what the disease was and how you got it, I developed a very irrational fear of it. And I remember more than once being in such a panic that I would wake up my mom in the middle of the night to sit with me! It took me a long time to even be brave enough to mention my fears to my family. Once the facts were explained, I didn't have to be awake and afraid all the time, like AIDS was going to climb in my window and get me! So regardless of age, children may have already heard the "scary" names somewhere and wondered if they were going to get it!
