She graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster PA in 1999 with a degree in English Literature and has worked as a grant writer, a renaissance faire street performer, a professional storyteller for elementary schools, a party clown, a tour guide for a historical park, an SAT prep teacher, an animal shelter volunteer (more than once), and lately a radio personality. Despite the short attention span when it comes to work, she has loved writing more than anything in her whole life. At the age of eleven, she announced that she was going to grow up to be a writer. At the age of thirteen, she completed her first novel, a Star Trek story about aliens without vowels in their names. Aimee and her two mutts, Lally Beeber (a boxer/shar-pei mix) and Moose (a mostly German shepherd) recently relocated from the Jersey Shore to the Pacific Northwest. When she's not playing ball with Lally or snuggling with Moose, Aimee is a freelance writer.
