We celebrate half-birthdays! The kids are allowed to pick out one gift and we take them out to dinner. It's fun!

I agree - they should be required to spend their lives performing restitution. I also think they should be put with heavy duty criminals, though. Becuase they are.

Step-parent Can't Discipline

I think it is somewhat natural for a biological parent to feel sensitive about who disciplines his children. I would suggest that you try to reach a compromise on this issue.

CDC recommends mandatory HIV testing?

I think it is a huge incredible invasion of privacy and am against it. Even though I personally already know my HIV status, there is no way I would comply with this law.

Take Your Kids To games?

Actually we do end up buying all that food :-P but we just make sure they know up front that we MAY decide not to so they shouldn't go for that reason. I like to have the full experience.

NBA Playoffs

We are hoping for a Pistons- Dallas match-up. :-) If the Spurs don't make it through, we joke that the Pistons might hang up their hats! They want a rematch, no doubt.
