Rather than not eating, go check out the Deals forums & learn how to save tons of money on your groceries. That way, you can eat AND save on groceries! :) - Coupon02 Mar 2007 10:29 AM This would be hot for the CVS H&S on sale for 2/$8... if it didn't just expire! :( So, What Did You Think of "The Secret"? - Blog Entry20 Feb 2007 08:08 PM Traci, have you watched The Secret? I think you ARE over-simplifying, and maybe it was not explained clearly enough on Oprah's show. There really are some amazing powerful insights that most people haven't considered. Watch it and see if it changes your mind. There's more to it than just "positive thinking". :) Let's Talk Pregnancy Blog Top Ten: Your Must-Read Checklist - Blog Entry04 Feb 2007 09:45 AM Yay Ina May Gaskin! As I was reading through your list, I was thinking: "Oh, I need to comment and add Ina May's Guide to Childbirth"... but you saved it for #1!!! YAAAAY!!!! :) Let's Talk About The Four-Minute Delivery! - Blog Entry04 Feb 2007 09:37 AM I think those types of births are amazing! I wished for a similar one myself! Mine wasn't quite as quick, although it was at home on the kitchen floor!! (Okay, I was in a pool that was on the kitchen floor... hehe) At my first birth (in the hospital), the waters were broken when I was already at ten. During my second birth (the one at home), my baby's head was actually born while still in the sack. The bag ended up breaking while my husband & midwife were guiding out my baby, while she was still underwater. Cool story! Hopefully it will teach her and those around her what a natural and beautiful thing birth can be without intervention! Let's Talk About Water Birth: Fluid Pain Relief - Blog Entry04 Feb 2007 09:32 AM Thanks for linking me to this blog!! I had a home waterbirth just 3 days after you! I'm looking forward to other similar blogs from you! :) I Don't Judge You for Not Homeschooling - Blog Entry15 Dec 2006 06:34 AM I just wanted to let you know that I posted a link to this blog in my local Attachment Parenting group's forum (where there are many homeschoolers), and they all thought it was awesome and insightful! Thanks again! :) I Don't Judge You for Not Homeschooling - Blog Entry11 Dec 2006 07:13 PM That was a great, well-written blog! Thanks for it! How do you search the Coupon Database? - Blog Entry11 Sep 2006 08:56 PM I accidentally found something out about searching tonight. As you mention in the blog, just hitting ENTER (rather than clicking Search) will get you no results. However, I found that if, after typing in your keywords, you hit TAB and then ENTER, that the search will work. :) For others like myself who prefer the keyboard to the mouse! Also: I usually use IE for Families.com, but I realized tonight that if using the Coupon DB in Opera, you CAN just hit Enter and the search will work. :) How Would You Deal with Polygamy? - Blog Entry31 Aug 2006 02:33 PM Hm. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is something that is not currently allowed in our church, although it had been previously. I've thought about it as well and I feel as though I've come to an understanding of that doctrine. We believe that there is a prophet on the earth today who receives revelation. If we were commanded to participate in plural marriage, I would most certainly consider that instruction. Even though it would probably be a difficult situation, I have faith that when we do the things that God wants us to, we will be blessed. That's what it boils down to for me: if you believe that God wants you to do it, it will be possible. If you don't honestly believe that, then of course you'll struggle with it! |
