He constantly compares me to his mother (who, I might add is one of four wives who only had three children between all four of them during his child hood as well as a nanny and a cook and a chauffeur and would pay the nannys daughter to run errands for them) I have pointed this out to him several times, yet I never thought to point out Muhammad's (pbuh) helpfulness when it came to his family. Thanks again! Roles in the Muslim Marriage30 Jul 2008 10:20 AM It would be ideal if all Muslim families in America can follow their roles within the family according to ISlam. However, I have come accross several families (incliding my own) where the husband can not legally work in this country, nor can the family move due to immigration bars. Because of this, spousal roles become confused. |
