Happy Flag Day!

Today is Flag Day. Oh, didn\\\'t you know? It\\\'s not surprising that so many of us didn\\\'t realize that today was a day to honor and celebrate our flag. It\\\'s the day for us to show resepect to those that designed and made the thing that represents us as a country. So, happy flag day! I hope you fly yours with pride!

My heart goes out to the young adults at VT

I can only imagine what was running through the heads of some of these young adults while this tragedy occured. The lives that were lost, senselessly. This isn\\\'t about gun laws. This is about something that is eating away at our children, warping their preception and their self image.

March of Dimes Walkamerica Team Captain's Rally

Tonight I will get the honor to speak at the March of Dimes Team Captain's Rally for this year's WalkAmerica. Being a local Ambassador Family has granted me the opportunity to speak to so many wonderful people who have a such a special passion for The March of Dimes. It's awesome to know that there are others out there who share my same passion for it.

Home is where you hang your hat.

Growing up as a Military Brat I was able to experience a lot of cultures and diversities that has made me who I am today. I'm thankful for that. However, being that we were moving around so much, I missed out on something that I've now learned to enjoy, just being at home.

And my families.com journal begins

Aren't you always supposed to start a journal with your "first entry" entry. The one that's special in that new sort of way, that opens the door for your journal and let's everyone know what kind of writing you'll be providing? Mine are never that way. Maybe it's my personality, maybe it's just trying to break away from the norm.
