March of Dimes Walkamerica Team Captain's Rally

Tonight I will get the honor to speak at the March of Dimes Team Captain's Rally for this year's WalkAmerica. Being a local Ambassador Family has granted me the opportunity to speak to so many wonderful people who have a such a special passion for The March of Dimes. It's awesome to know that there are others out there who share my same passion for it.

Tonight I get to thank those people who have worked so hard to recruit walkers, fundraise and help coordinate this year's walk. However, when I offer my thanks tonight, it not just for that, it's for so much more. It's for the volunteers who helped me cope after giving birth to my stillborn daughter, it's for the support I received from other families during my 2nd pregnancy and during my son's stay in the NICU. It's for all that the March of Dimes has given to my family personally. For that, I'm not sure exaclty how to say Thank You, or even how to repay all of the love and support that I've received. But hopefully, with my continued efforts to be a part of the March of Dimes, I can somehow give back a little of what I've gotten and continue to grow and heal.
