I liked reading this article. Marriage counseling is indeed a process. Many people see marriage counseling as something where an expert is going to give them an instant fix. Counseling can be brief, but real change happens after a process of facilitating change. I must also add that sometimes "miracles" do happen in counseling and that most of the time it is not from the on the spot advice of a counselor.
