ljbI sold my house! It has been a whirlwind summer. We committed to buy a house in the middle of July, without having our current house on the market – or even ready to be put on the market. It took us two weeks to spruce it up (and de-clutter) enough to list it. It first listed on Aug 3.
In the meantime, we closed on the new property last Friday. Since then, two offers have come in on the old property. After a week of negotiation, we have accepted an offer and won’t have two mortgages at one time!!! Not even one month!! A huge relief!

This is excellent news. A good property that is priced right and marketed properly will sell, no matter what the naysayers whine about.
