Contrast

For children from 2 to 3 years old.

Put one palm of your child on your palm. Touch the fingers one after
another and say: "Cold, cold, cold...". When you say: "hot", your child
should take away his hand very quickly. At first you may say your
child: "When I say: "hot", you should take away the hand very quickly
or you will "burn" your fingers!"

Soon your child will understand that he must take away the hand.

May be your child will want to "burn" and he will not take away the
hand specially!

You may use another contrast: "dry"-"wet" , "big"-"small", "laugh"-"
cry" or "winter"-"summer", "cat"-"dog", "hare"-"wolf"
