For a long time, I couldn't find them, but they are in the stores again. I also don't like the kits that make one thing. That seems to go against the whole idea of buying them blocks so they can express their own creativity, not replicate what is on the box. I don't think the lego advertising is any different than all children's advertising, which does categorize cars, trucks and the like as being for boys and princesses, dolls and dress up for girls. There is a photograph somewhere of my grandmother in her stroller at a rally. She was a little baby and the youngest of ten children. My own kids couldn't believe there was a time when women couldn't vote. They could barely grasp the idea that Hillary Clinton was the first woman running at the head of a major party ticket. ACORN probably has good intentions, but horrible management and execution. If there is fraud, there should be prosecutions, but I highly doubt this will affect the outcome of the election. They only signed up 84,000 people and the margin of victory is likely to be significantly higher than that figure. It's just another distraction from the issues that actually matter in the country. Of course, my dad flipped out and the relationship ended. We met up again when I was 20 and have been together ever since. I once pointed out to my dad that he was wrong. That being said, we would probably react the same way my parents did and say NO WAY. :) My dad said he needs to stay alive long enough to see one of his granddaughters come home with a guy five years older than her! I've never heard of problems with guinea pigs or hamsters and illness. We've known so many families that have these too without problems. I have heard of salmonella risk from lizards, snakes and turtles. My two littler kids love this show too.
