The Four Questions - Mah Nish-Tanah - Blog Entry08 Apr 2006 08:35 PM I am the oldest of my siblings; my cousins are all older than me BUT somehow I was always stuck singing the four questions! Because I was a Hebrew tutor for a few years, they just looked at me to pick up the slack. Eventually, I finally suggested that we all sing them together. That worked except it was myself and sisters seemed to be the only ones singing. Talk about a great Hebrew Education! Things To Bring When You Walk Your Dog - Blog Entry07 Apr 2006 09:18 PM And, I have forgotten my keys as well :) Things To Bring When You Walk Your Dog - Blog Entry07 Apr 2006 09:17 PM Yes yes yes!!!! We do our laundry and forget to check our pockets, and sure enough, at least 5 bags come out of the washing machine. We call Marley, "Marley two poops." We never knew of any dog going more than once and as Marley became older, we thought it would be cut down to one time. Marley turned 3 on Monday, and sometimes she still is Marley two poops, but in the past she has become Marley three, four, and five poops! Thank you for this blog! Dancing with the Spouses! - Blog Entry30 Mar 2006 04:14 PM I was a dancer for 18 years and then taught ballroom dance for a little while. When it came to our wedding, my husband and I took lessons with my old boss. I stood on the side watching my husband learn from a great teacher and our biggest problem was I back led. The occasional argument occured as well but the day of our wedding, WOW, did my husband step up his game! Although it was a planned out routine, my husband said that was the easiest day we ever danced together. (Why? because I froze and let him lead me) Great Article! Matisyahu: A New Kind of Reggae - Blog Entry28 Mar 2006 02:53 AM YEAH!!!! He just came out with a new CD called "Youth" but it seems like a lot of the same songs as "Live at Stubbs." Def. love his music and will have to catch him when he comes out West. Thanks for commenting and so happy you know of his music. Scientology vs. South Park - Blog Entry28 Mar 2006 02:49 AM South Park has always been funny and Viacom is a very large corporation and does have a lot of power in the media. South Park is my retreat back to childhood and just pure making of fun of things in society. What is the Body-for-Life Challenge? - Blog Entry27 Mar 2006 02:43 PM Thank you for informing us about this. I will have to go check out the website. $50,000 is a definite motivator ;) and as I need some motivation to get back to my slimmer size, this info comes just at the right time. Thanks Lisa! What is Plagiarism? - Blog Entry27 Mar 2006 02:40 PM I totally agree. I write faster than I research and if I need to back up my thought with already published material, then I cite the source. I will have to add a second blog about this because as long as the source is cited, then it is not considered plagiarism. BUT of course you cannot cite an entire paper, although when I wrote my Masters thesis, it seemed like I did :) The Culture of Judaism - Blog Entry27 Mar 2006 04:35 AM Isn't that interesting? When I was in Israel, I actually went into the Arab quarter in the Old City and spoke to a restaurant owner about how they had an underground coalition trying to make peace between Israeli's and Muslims. |
