Oh wow, kara, that is crazy! How funny. I'm so glad you shared this. I never thought of other pets as beggars. I've only had dogs or cats. So when Jennier and Susan told me about thier pets that begged, I thought that was so funny. And now you have this story. WILD! Thanks for the comment. (And the chuckles. ;)

CONGRATULATIONS, JADE! She's a smart girl, isn't she, Dale, thinking about off-season rates and the beauty of the season?

I wish I had been that smart. We just sort of did it. Not too long ago I wrote about how if I had my wedding to do all over again our date would have been 7/14. (See http://marriage.families.com/blog/if-i-had-to-do-my-wedding-all-over-again.)

You had quite the romantic reason for picking your date, Dale. And while I think the idea of holiday weddings like Christmas or Valentine's Day are romantic, I don't think I'd put that stress on guests or myself. Christmas is such a busy time of the year, and Valentine's Day holds so many feelings for people.

I can't believe she got booted before Cloris. That's hysterical! And even funnier that she got so worked up about getting the boot. It's a silly dance show for pete's sake! But maybe she was more emotional than she might have been given the anniversary of her dad's death and all... I'll cut her some slack for that. Funny title, btw, Michele!

Murph was a shelter dog. He picked us and I'm so happy he did. While he had his surgery I had to endure 2 days without him, and that was excruciating. I like the one blog you once wrote about your house rule, Aimee. About how Moose and Lally are forbidden from crossing the Rainbow Bridge. I wish we could make it so they're with us till our dying day and we could all cross together. But I guess their time is short for a reason. I don't know what that reason is, but...I'm sure there must be one. Great article.

Aw geez! I probably should have put a spoiler alert on this, but I figured I must surely be the last to have seen it. You should still watch if you're a fan though. You will like it. I left some juicy details out. Like when Big pretty much stands Carrie up at the altra? OMG! Most heartwrenching movie scene I think I've ever experienced. I was bawling. And that was at the very start of the movie!
