I about fell over when I heard them say that on the Hills Aftershow last night. Heidi is so pretty but so incredibly blind and stupid. And apparently easily manipulated. Either that or the people who film the Hills are incredibly slanted in portraying Spencer as a horse's butt when he's really not. But I can't see how that'd be the case. I can't believe she did it. As he would call it, M's raising the benchmark!) I have no doubt if a big dog came out at us, Wayne would do as your friend did. But you know what's funny? Just as you put your arm out in the car (I do that too!), I would probably put myself between Wayne and the dog anyway! Like you said, it's instinctive in me to be protective of the ones I love.
