WOW! Thanks for all the comments and info, ladies. I learned a host of new things! I would have liked to see the White House dog house! And from what I could tell from the AKC's site, poodles are more kid/family-friendly than most realize I guess. (Um, hope that doesn't botch anything in your house. You haven't been telling your daughter she can't have a poodle or anything have you???? ;)

I heard that same thing, but in the reverse: If I win, I told my wife she can have a dog.

I can't even imagine how he must feel. He's endured both one of the most heartwrenching things a person can, and then has one of the most amazing things any politician can ever know happen 48 hours later. And I think I've had a rough year??? Shoot, it's nothing compared to all his drama!
