I like Christian's idea, but I don't know I could avoid the temptation of decorating the green icing with a pile of chocolate chips...

And, Janet, I wish I had your repose and understanding. You are probably right that he doesn't understand the sniffing and fears accidents, and he just doesn't have good social graces. Luckily I don't suffer seeing him every day (just his house). I'll practice being more neighborly...

Aw, Dale, your husband really does sound like quite the catch. I think it's so sweet when our guys open up about their romantic sides. What a great comment. Thanks so much for leaving it!

Maybe that was exactly my problem, Tristi! I WAS sort of lost during the play. I think you finally cleared that up for me. Thanks! =)

Mixing Politics and Marriage - Blog Entry

You have an awesome approach/philosophy to politics, voting and your marriage, Christian. Sounds like you two really know how to make that work...and how to work through things that crop up. Like making it okay not to agree on everything and have your own opinions.

And Valorie...you never fail to crack me up.

You're right, Tristi, it is different from the play, but I'm glad for that. I saw the play first after everyone kept raving about how romantic and wonderful it was. I enjoyed it but did not walk out of there on Cloud Nine like everyone else I'd known had. But after I saw the movie??? I finally got it. I love this movie. In fact, not only do I have the DVD but I recently added the soundtrack to my CD collection and have been listening to it in the car obsessively. (At least when my husband isn't with me. =)

Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) - Blog Entry

I have been wanting to see this one for a while, but finally did the other day and it was AWESOME! Clever, clever, clever from the claymation to the plot to the one-liners. I love Wallace and Gromit, but I have to say they out did themselves with this film. It was spot on in every way. Clever. That's all that keeps coming to mind. I was enchanted, amused, and entertained the whole way through!

Puppy Bowl IV Play-by-Play - Blog Entry

Was Bruin the one who kept sticking his whole face in the water bowl??? He was really cute too. (And did you see his mug on the puppy player's line up on Animal Planet's site? If not, check it out. It's hysterical!)

And the kitty half time show...my cats were envious of the stage those kittens got to play on!
