Sometimes it doesn't matter how long you date someone before you see, as Karri said, "The way that a person was raised greatly affects his/her beliefs, actions, and values." Sometimes these things lay dormant for a while and aren't brought out until you're married and dealing with things that come with marriage. Like kids. The important thing is it sounds like both Karri and her husband realize their differences and are making adjustments to accommodate the other's needs. ;)

What a bummer to hear. Hopefully the housekeeper likes Trouble. Or hopefully they'll hurry up and find some pet nannies who will!

I was not expecting much from this movie. It hadn't gotten good reviews and some good friends who saw it in the theater told us they weren't impressed. (And we usually have the same taste in movies.)

But then my sister saw it at the dollar flick and loved it. She said I HAD to see it. So I put it in my Netflix queue and sort of forgot about it. Until it's time on the list was up to be sent to our house.

I LOVED it! It was an old-fashioned kind of family-fun movie. I lent it to our across the street neighbors because their 10-yr-old loves history and comedy, and his brother likes comedy and action, so... They could not stop laughing about it and even the parents said how much they enjoyed it too. I was so happy to have someone else to share it with. The "Give me some gum-gum, dumb-dumb" is by far the most repeated line between us now. =)

A neighbor across the street started using the spray-on variety of Frontline because it was a little cheaper overall. (Got more and it lasted longer for less price.)

HOWEVER, she's since discontinued using it because Otis would get nuts when she sprayed it. He'd run and roll in the dirt and rub up against the bushes and even the side of the house. He never did that with the kind in the little bottle, and she couldn't figure it out. Until she accidentally sprayed some on her and it burned like crazy. She felt so bad and promised Otis she wouldn't use it on him anymore. He's very content she went back to the other kind from what I hear. =)

They have ALL kinds of stories there, Tristi. If you do try it'll be interesting to hear how you liked it and how you decided on whatever one you bought. ;) (That was my problem...deciding on just one. That's why I've gone back and bought more and have more on my radar to get. =)

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. Had you bought it before reading this, or did you try it after? Either way, it's neat to hear from someone else who tried the Amazon Shorts program too!

Thanks for your comments, ladies! I agree wholeheartedly with Janet, and I'm with you, Michelle --I certainly hope her brother does like dogs. If he doesn't, she certainly saw to it he can pay to hire a pet lover (or 2...or 8) to tend to Trouble. ;-)
