I have had my DH put rubber bands around Mr. Meow's paw (not tight, just put his paw through without wrapping it or anything to keep it on) to watch Mr. Meow shake it off in frustration and annoyance. He also has put tape on his paws to watch how it drives the cat crazy. (And he wonders why Mr. Meow's his nemesis???) Anyway...then I do like your mom. Baby and coo to him and fill his bowl with Pounces to try to make up for his dad's misbehavior. I don't know that I'd have the guts to hang around there on a bright sunny day much less in the dark of night.
