To Replace an Engagement Ring or Not, That is the Question

14 Jul 2008 07:13 AM

As usual, very astute observations, Jade. Wayne is ALWAYS mad...it's just the way he reacts to just about any situation. And it's always my fault. Even when it's something HE'S done and I'm nowhere near and wasn't even involved, he'll somehow accuse me.

At first.

Once he gets that out of his system, he's always much calmer, more rational, and usually aplogizes if he came across too harsh in the beginning.

And I like your suggestion for using the advance from my next book...if that comes to pass I'm going to know it was the power of your positive thinking that did it! ;)

Broken Ring, Broken Heart

12 Jul 2008 07:28 PM

Oh wow were you blessed, Dale! Luckily you noticed right away and had that nice lady aid too. I wish I had listened to my inner voice. A couple weeks earlier my ring had felt a little funny and I thought the diamond was rocking a bit but I figured the prongs would surely hold it in...HA! Lesson learned....

The Pros and Cons of Hospice Care

10 Jul 2008 09:45 AM

Hospice was the biggest blessing to my mom and I the final few weeks of her life. If you've ever doubted if there are angels on earth, visit a hospice. The people who choose to work in this field are among the most compassionate, caring people in the world. Truly angels on earth.

Why It's Wrong To Be Left Like a Dog for Dead

09 Jun 2008 03:47 AM

OMG, Amee! I do the same thing with spiders too! It drives Wayne nuts because I'll scream, "NO! Don't kill it. It's bad luck to kill a spider in a house. We have to catch him and put him outside." So funny! it's crazy all the stuff you and I have in common....not killing spiders, naming inanimate objects, agreeing about the whole cloning pets thing... ;)
