They were already living together, but one day went to the JP, but then still had a sort of reception. Later, though. Like several months after the JP visit. And they only told less than a handful of people (excluding parents and grandparents) that they'd gotten hitched. They just kept living together as normal. It was very weird and no one's really figured out why they did this exactly but I think it's because neither are spotlight people. But who knows. I'm sorry it's because you have experience on the other end, though. (Although it helped to hear where your head and heart were at. I believe that's where my husband's is too.)
