Cute when they have friends! (Or cousins to pester, like Lally with Lily Biscuits...and can I just say what a CUTE name that is!) My Mother's Day13 May 2008 11:47 AM What a lucky girl you are to have such nice friends. No, maybe luck isn't the right word. You get what you give: you're a gem so you get gems in kind. So glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day! Facing a Marriage Crisis13 May 2008 11:43 AM Sherry, you could have WROTE the book with all the wisdom you have. Your last comment just about sums up all the book covers. See why I look up to you? This is the proof: you are one darn smart cookie! Thanks for sharing. You made me realize that just as I'm expecting Wayne to be more empathetic to me, so do I need to do the same for him. Thank you. Who's to Blame, Me or Him?13 May 2008 11:40 AM It is very comforting to hear your insight on this, Beth. I actually feel very flattered you left it. I regard your blogs and all the wonderful information you share in them very highly because you always have such sound tips for dealing with all sorts of things. And, Dale, you and I are on the same wavelength. That was exactly the next step I was planning to take! ;) Thanks for your comments, ladies! Facing a Marriage Crisis12 May 2008 07:16 AM Thanks, Sherry, for the hugs and thoughts, but also the advice. Trying to keep a level head, hard as that is, and trying to understand where he's coming from. Maybe I haven't been doing that as much as I should. (Defnitely not like I was pre-Mom's arrival, admittedly.) And, funny, your advice sure mirrors that which was given in Trading Places. You are an empathetic soul, and that's a very good thing! Thanks again for your help. Ways to Avoid Stress: Lifestyle Changes12 May 2008 06:28 AM When I get a chance to play it, I'm finding Wii Boxing a particularly effective stress reliever these days. Good cardio workout too. I really get to sweating! But the other day I got too into it and pulled a back muscle. (Had a lot of frustration to work out and was having trouble K.O.'ing my opponent as quickly as I normally do. Swung too much.) But this is my favorite new way to work out stress. Had to take some days off to let the back get better, but as soon as I can I'm going to start swinging away again! Facing a Marriage Crisis09 May 2008 05:45 AM Thanks everyone for your comments, insights, but most of all support. If nothing else, all this overwhelmedness is igniting my Muse! (The other one, Jade. Although who knows what articles you'll find next to send on to spark me more!) Murphy Meets the Paramedics08 May 2008 03:59 PM Thanks so much for your awesome insights and comments, lkeefer! That story about the family dog and your uncle? AWESOME! Thanks for sharing. I LOVE stories like those. It touched my heart as I'm sure it will touch others. And crating them so they can see is also a most excellent suggestion! Filing it away...but hoping I never have to use it. How To Deal With Anger08 May 2008 07:30 AM Thank you for pointing me to this article, Dale. It was wonderful.
