Diary of a Cat Care B&B: Apparently I Need Grooming

22 Jan 2008 01:42 PM

You know something else I thought of last night after reading this? I wished I lived near you so I could drop off the cats at your cat B&B when we go out of town. Knowing someone like aunt Aimee would be there to take some extra time loving on them would ease my stress at leaving them behind. The people who use that facility are so lucky you have them watching over their cats, Aimee! All pet parents should be so lucky. =)

Surprise Puppy Sitting Duties

Wayne is afraid of that! And it doesn't help when I get a chance to spend time with them and know them. But I have to admit...I don't know if we're up for puppy duty on a permanent basis. That truly was a lot of work!

Why You Should Take a Honeymoon

21 Jan 2008 10:46 AM

Jade, I think you're using your money wisely. Wayne and I never had a honeymoon after the wedding. As Lyn addressed in her article, we're one of those couple who said we would and never did. Now it's a big ol' moot issue. A trip is just a trip after you've been married a long time. A honeymoon truly only comes after the wedding. And knowing now what I didn't know then, I would have spent a LOT more time making sure we went somewhere rather than throwing a party. (Which was fun and not elaborate at all, but I would've preferred getting all excited and putting my energy into planning an awesome getaway instead.)

Diary of a Cat Care B&B: Apparently I Need Grooming

Tabby grooms Wayne sometimes, and I've seen her cleaning Murph's haunches, and every once in a while she'll groom me but not as much as she does her boys. Which kind of gets me jealous because it's so cute how she takes her job getting them clean so seriously!!! Sounds like you have some very cute cats on your hands!!

Hey, as you were describing this Murphy I couldn't help but think of my Murphy! He sounds just as good as mine. Maybe it's something in the name???

Marriage Roadblock: Latin America vs. Europe

17 Jan 2008 07:12 AM

Oh my gosh, Jade, that is Wayne's argument too, that the dollar can get us more down South rather than "across the pond." And this appeals to my frugal side. Even though I still liked Michele's argument about just as much coastline in Ireland as Brazil... But when I think about it costing me more, then I would not enjoy it and would feel guilty for going first.

Dang it. This might just be what sways the decision ball from stuck to in his favor.

Oh well. I WILL get to France and Ireland one day...

Thanks for the advice. ;)

That sounds like a plan to me, Michele! And I'd never considered the coastline argument...thanks for the fresh ammo!!! =)

Why Take Dating Advice from this "Bachelor"?

I am definitely "out of the situation", Kateluv, but I would be very curious to hear from someone who read his book and how it helped them. Care to share what you found useful about it and why?
